New Jersey Tigers - 2003 PDF Print E-mail

After almost five years of court battles, 24 tigers were removed from a compound in New Jersey. (Click the pictures to enlarge.)

The trailer (on left) housed three adult tigers. The photo on the right is looking into the main "pen".

After their arrival, the tigers ate a large meal and then started settling into the newly built quarantine area. While in quarantine, they were neutered, microchipped, dewormed and bloodwork was done.

August 4, 2004: Nine of the NJ tigers were introduced into their new 2-acre enclosure, complete with shelters and even a pool for those hot Texas summers!
